The Capilano Suspension Bridge was originally built in 1889 and its 446 feet (136 meters) spans the Capilano River. A walk across this bridge is a truly unique experience.

New for 2011 is the amazing and awe-inspiring Cliffwalk. The Cliffwalk juts out from the granite cliff face above Capilano River taking guests to previously unexplored areas of the park on a series of unobtrusive cantilevered and suspended walkways. Not for the feint of heart, it is high and narrow and, in some sections, glass is all that separates you from the canyon far below.

Treetops Adventure in one of Capilano Suspension Bridge's attractions and the first venue of its kind in North America, offering a squirrel's eye view of a thriving coastal forest. Visitors venture from one magnificent Douglas fir tree to another on a series of elevated suspension bridges, some reaching as high as 100 feet (30meters) above the forest floor.

In addition to the three main activities, you can join a guided nature or history walk or explore on your own.The Living Forest area provides panels with interactive displays, fun facts and "what's that tree?" identification clues. We begin boarding fifteen minutes prior to departure from our floating dock directly beside the Halifax Ferry Terminal. Once you board Theodore, your Deckhands will lead the group around the vessel getting some help from our guests finding all of the safety equipment, and demonstrating how to use life jackets in case of emergency. It is always better to be prepared! Then we will depart for the beginning of our tour. Your guides will begin the animation of the tour as we find some of Theodore's friends in the harbour to teach us the Tugboat pledge. Each stop will be animated, and is designed to be fun and interactive with all of the kids on board. Upon completion of the tour, every child will be given a certificate celebrating their new status as a member of Theodore's crew!
