Fly like a superhero and swim like a dolphin on this 20-minute flyboarding adventure in Alberta. Flyboarding is the latest in extreme watersports, but don’t be fooled, it’s much easier than it looks. Whether an avid adventure seeker, a bucket list kicker, or an adrenaline junkie, Alberta Flyboard has the thrill. Book today for the most fun available with wake boots on. All the necessary equipment is included on this small-group tour.
This adrenaline-packed flyboarding experience starts upon checking in at Alberta Flyboard. The staff will assist with getting signed in and completing the Operator's Course, which includes important safety instructions and a brief equipment and technique tutorial. Once sign in is complete, get fitted into a wetsuit, life jacket, and helmet. At this point, walk down to the staging area where the real fun begins.
The instructor will be at the staging area to assist with the flyboard equipment. This is when the adrenaline really starts flowing, but it's important to listen to the instructor as they provide last-minute, on-dock instructions. After the instructor helps everyone into the water, begin the lesson with some simple water maneuvers en route to the Fly Zone.
When leaving the designated Fly Zone, work one-on-one with the instructor while learning how to fly like a superhero and swim like a dolphin. Within minutes, stand on the flyboard and hover over the water. By the end of the lesson, check out the view from several feet about the water, turning, steering, and diving like it's second nature. When the session time comes to a close, head back to the staging area and the instructor will assist with getting out of the equipment.
The friendly staff will allow a chance to change out of the wetsuit, life jacket, and helmet, and then happily answer any questions. When done, collect personal belongings and recount the wild time flyboarding at Sylvan Lake.
